NETS Conference

"What's a Church Leader to Do?"

These days there is no shortage of ideas on church leadership. Leaders and aspiring leaders are exhorted to be shepherds, influencers, change agents, team players and CEO’s. We are told to do more, to do less, to do it better, or to find someone else to do it. With all these views competing for our attention, it’s easy to lose sight of the one thing that matters - what does Scripture say God requires of a leader in His church?

The 2010 NETS Conference is dedicated to answering that question. NETS President Wes Pastor, fresh off his master’s studies in the Pastoral Epistles through the University of Wales, will take us straight to God’s Word, challenging us to examine ourselves and our churches against a biblical leadership grid. This year we've also added breakout sessions, including a special session for women in ministry.

Whether you’re a pastor, lay leader or aspiring leader, you’ll come away refreshed in your faith, clear on your mission and encouraged to persevere in your ministry.

Give
I have known of the work of this innovative, church-based church planting movement for several years. I have had the privilege of getting to know both the leadership team in New England and their very capable colleagues in Cameroon. This is a ministry model and team worthy of trust and support.

NETS is supported by the generous gifts of individuals, churches and foundations. How can you help?

Individuals - The majority of our funding is from faithful individuals. Monthly gifts cover staff, operations and student costs. Executive Team members support NETS with a monthly donation of at least $50, but gifts in all amounts bless this ministry. One-time gifts generally cover significant organizational or church-plant needs. All donations can be made via check, credit card or electronic fund transfer. You can donate online here through our secure system, or contact the NETS office at (802) 878-9922 for more information.

Churches - There are churches throughout the US supporting our current church plants. Consider adding NETS to your church missions budget. Foundations - To date NETS has received gifts from six foundations and foundational partners.
